We have a super cute DIY craft project for you all today! An adorable winter scene with Bambi, a gorgeous background, and hanging moon & stars.
If you are looking for a DIY project for your home, a room decor, to sell, or even to gift, this project is perfect for you. This craft DIY is simple, easy and quick to make. I've put several ideas into one with this piece, which you can learn and take with you for other future crafts. I hope I help inspire you, give you some crafty ideas, and help you learn a thing or two. Most of all, I hope you have fun crafting!
Younger kids can get involved with this project, but adult supervision is needed at all times and I would advise to use a safer glue like PVA instead of a glue gun. Mature children from the age of 12 upwards and adults are more recommended for this project.
There is something truly magical about this shadow box project, and it quickly became one of my favourite DIY's. I have it hung up nicely in my home, and have had several requests to make some for friends and family. It could sell well too, as people love bambi and the piece looks more expensive than it actually is! So, let's get started!
What you will need:
- Shadow box.
- Printed Scene, we used this one.
- Bambi figurine.
- Miniature trees.
- Wooden moon and stars embellishments.
- Clear string.
- Acrylic pen painters.
- Salt or sugar.
- Pencil, scissors, ruler, and any sort of stick to hold hot glue down without you touching it.
- Modpodge & paint brush (optional- if you want the colours of your background to stand out more)
- Hot glue gun.
