This has got to be one of my personal favourite DIY craft projects that I have done so far. It's gone down a treat with the kids, and the internet is proving to love it just as much!
Come recycle and craft with us. If you don't have an old makeup sponge, no worries- you get a whole bag for just 99p!
I love recycling projects, and this is just the cutest craft ever. Trust me when I tell you, this craft is SO MUCH FUN! I may be slightly addicted, but that's fine because I have a huge amount of requests for these cake slices! My friends and family love them, even the husband has had a go at decorating and making his own miniature cake slice! The kids loved choosing what colours, icing and topping for each cake. What's more to love than an easy, cheap, fun, and recycling art and crafts project? Go on, have a go, you will LOVE it!
What you will need:
- Makeup sponges- Triangle shaped.
- Puffy paint/ fabric paint.
- Lolly stick to apply the paint. It works better than a paintbrush or gloved finger on the sponge surface, but you can use whatever method you prefer.
- Decorative topping & sprinkles.
